Our directors brings together a wealth of experience from various industries and sectors and play pivotal roles in driving our vision forward.

Marcus is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in development across both residential and commercial sectors. He boasts an impressive track record as an investment expert, proficient in handling various asset classes, from property development to M&A transactions in private equity and infrastructure. With extensive experience collaborating with renowned investment and operating organisations in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, Marcus has actively contributed to investment review and execution processes and served on multiple boards. Additionally, Marcus maintains close relationships with Iwi and has been a board member and CEO of Ngā Maunga Whakahii o Kaipara Ngahere, showcasing his commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships with indigenous communities. Recently, Marcus has focused on residential property projects, working hand in hand with KiwiBuild and Community Housing Providers to bring Watchman Capital and other initiatives to fruition.

Andrea brings a wealth of expertise in marketing, product management, and sales from her background in various New Zealand and offshore companies such as Fonterra, Vector, Optus, and Cable & Wireless. Her key focus within Watchman Capital is to ensure that we have the right housing products that cater to the specific needs of local markets. She plays an instrumental role in developing and executing marketing and sales strategies for our projects. Andrea has demonstrated her prowess by successfully developing and selling down projects for both Watchman Capital and other developments, including the notable achievement of The Neighbourhood at Ormiston, encompassing over 700 homes.

Iwi

We have strong relationships with a number of Iwi throughout NZ. This has been cemented through Marcus's roles on the board and as CEO of Nga Maunga Whakahii o Kaipara Ngahere and through our Rotorua projects where we have worked alongside various local Iwi including training youth on our building site at Rotorua as part of the Te Arawa training program.

Community Housing Providers

We work with a number of CHPs including Accesible Properties, Penina Housing Trust, Emerge Aotearoa and Home In Place. Our projects with these organisations include built to rent and joint ventures.

Kainga Ora

We have worked with Kāinga Ora on a number of projects and have enjoyed their support on a number of KiwiBuild projects. We are open to other opportunities with KO and continue to work with them to develop affordable housing for everyday Kiwis.
